Inshore Fishing From The Everglades To The Reefs
From the backcountry mangroves of the Everglades National Park to the crystal-clear reefs in the Atlantic, we have some of the best variety of fishing options for novice and experienced anglers alike. Our specialty is to do the most aggressive, productive fishing the conditions allow us to do.
We are light tackle, live bait specialists and pride ourselves on having the bait ready and knowing exactly where it is. It’s why we’ve invested in top-of-the-line livewell systems for our boats. We also have an arsenal of artificial lures handy.
Looking to fly fish? We love hosting fly anglers but be sure to bring your fly tackle with you.
Target Species
We’re targeting some of the most iconic inshore saltwater species from the mangroves to the reefs around Islamorada. During the Winter months, we’re targeting permit, cobia, trout, and Spanish mackerel. In the Summer months, we’ll target snook and redfish in the mangroves and tripletail around structure.
We have incredible year-round fishing for snook, mangrove snapper, and jack Crevalle. The best time to get here and fish is whenever you can come.
It’s also not uncommon to hook into a lemon shark, nurse shark, bull shark, or bonnet head.
Looking for an epic fight you’ll never forget? Check out our Islamorada Tarpon Trips, which run from April to June.
Where We Fish
Everglades National Park
The park starts a mile from our dock and is home to incredible year-round fishing. With a variety of habitat and species, there is something here for everyone.
Cape Sable
At the further end of the Everglades, Cape Sable is home to winding vines of mangrove channels with incredible snook, redfish, and tarpon fishing.
Gulf Of Mexico
During the winter months, and if the conditions are perfect, we’re going to run 20-40 miles out to the Gulf of Mexico where we have incredible sight-fishing for schools of permit, cobia, and Spanish mackerel. it’s a longer run but the fishing is WORTH IT! With our 300hp Yamaha, we’re cruising about 40mph, so it’s a 30-minute to hour run of action-packed, exhilarating fishing.
Eastern Reefs
Depending on the season and the weather, we’ll head to the Eastern side of Islamorada to target hogfish, mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, and grouper on the iconic reefs, wrecks, and shallow rock piles in the Atlantic. These are great trips for the family.
